I recently stayed at Vineyard Creek for a girls weekend, which it was a great choice. It's not the romantic getaway that alot of the bed and breakfasts and other hotels claim to be, which was perfect for us. It is just one block away from Railroad Square which has several cute restaurants, coffee shops, and little boutiques...and it's just 4-5 blocks from the downtown area with a mall and even more restaurants, bars and shopping. It's a perfect location if you are looking to go out at night and don't want to worry with driving. The hotel is right by the interstate, so it's minutes from several wineries, about 30 minutes to Healdsburg and 45 minutes to Armstrong Park. The hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and accomodating and there's a free wine tasting at the hotel every Friday night from a local winery!! Great hotel for a girls weekend, family vacation or a group trip.

The young man at the reception desk was not in the least bit cordial. I requested a quiet room, but was kept up for most of the night by the water percolating through the radiant heating system, and some sort of generator noise outside. I was bitten on the leg by a spider or bedbug - I'm not sure which. The TV did not work and a technician had to be called to the room. Finally, I receive a charge on my credit card for * dollars and some change. When I called to inquire about the charge, I was told that it was for two bottles of water that had been left in my room. Of course, I thought the bottled water was complimentary.

The Hyatt Vineyard Creek was a very lovely hotel! The grounds were beautiful and would stay again anytime. My only complaint was only getting to stay one night. There was a free wine tasting at the hotel the night we stayed. Lots of fun places to eat as well.
